Weredogs in Britain are a bit riled up. A new British fad is people killing their pets for pet insurance payouts. The insurance industry reports that pet insurance fraud was over $30 million last year, in 2010, up from $670,000 in 2009. Many Brit weredogs are pissed, and I don't mean inebriated.

That is fucking despicable. What kind of greedy person could kill like that? I say the Brits have a perfectly liable reason to be mad! I wouldn't blame them if they started smuggling out dogs who they think may be killed for insurance money.
This is not just a Brit thing. It simply has caught on there. It could catch on in the US if the wrong people got ahold of the idea. Keep in mind, this is the country where puppy mill-hells proliferate. And it could happen anywhere else.
I'm sorry. If I ever caught someone abusing a dog or animal without cause (sometimes there is the need for me to slightly wap my cats with a newspaper, I will admit), I would be thrown in jail for assault. I can't even fathom why someone would hurt a dog. It goes right over my head.
